Dear MBS Family,
Spring at MBS has been a season of fresh ideas, inspiring encounters and exciting developments. One particular highlight: Transport Logistic 2025 in Munich – four dynamic days of dialogue, innovation and international exchange.
In this edition, we take you behind the scenes of what’s been happening across our Group: e.g. a new leadership appointment in Cologne, changes in Frankfurt and Singapore, international visits, new strategic partnerships and the acquisition of Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH in Zurich – a significant step forward for MBS Switzerland and the Group as a whole.
There’s also momentum on the digital front: our Anytime team has launched its brand-new website: bold, focused and full of energy, reflecting the spirit of its time-critical services in AOG and time-critical logistics.
We hope you enjoy reading this issue and, as always, we look forward to your thoughts and feedback.
Wishing you a wonderful summer – filled with sunshine, new energy and a few well-deserved moments to unwind.
Warm regards,
Joerg Roehl and Daniel Steckel

NEWS
MBS Switzerland acquires Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH

Our Swiss subsidiary, MBS Logistics AG, officially acquired Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH in Zurich in May, retroactively effective from 1 January 2025. The company brings extensive expertise in specialised logistics – particularly in aviation, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and time-critical services such as AOG and 24/7 emergency logistics.
This acquisition not only strengthens our presence in Switzerland but also expands our international service portfolio. The expertise of Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH is an ideal complement to our global network and the specialised know-how of MBS Anytime.
The company will continue to operate under its established name and remain under the leadership of Maria Wegmüller. She will be working closely with Fabian Heil from MBS Logistics AG to ensure continuity, deliver added customer value and drive the further development of specialised logistics services. We’re pleased to welcome the entire Wegmüller team to MBS and look forward to shaping the future together!

New Managing Director in Cologne

As of 1 April 2025, Thomas Peters has taken over as Managing Director for the NRW region at MBS Logistics GmbH in Cologne. In this role, he is responsible for Sea Freight, Air Freight and Sales, as well as overseeing operations at our Düsseldorf and Dortmund branches. He works closely with Christoph Schilz, whose role remains unchanged.
We’re delighted to have Thomas in this new position and wish him every success in his leadership.

Changes at MBS Frankfurt

MBS Frankfurt is setting the course for the future – with fresh momentum, new responsibilities, and familiar faces in new roles.
Stefan Wischrath has taken on the position of Managing Director Agency Network at the Holding in Cologne, effective immediately. He will continue in his current role as Managing Director for Publiship Frankfurt.
Monika Geier will step back from day-to-day operations at the end of the year. Going forward, she will support Jannis Friebe in an advisory capacity.
From now on, the sole management responsibility for MBS Frankfurt will lie with Jannis Friebe.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Monika Geier – for her entrepreneurial spirit, for building up MBS Frankfurt, for her tireless commitment and the many years of close and trusted collaboration. We are all the more pleased that she will continue to support us with her experience and foresight.
Our sincere thanks also go to Stefan Wischrath for his dedication and valuable contributions at MBS Frankfurt. We wish him every success in his new role, which he will take on together with Inoma Bredenoord.
To Jannis Friebe, we extend our best wishes for his new position as sole Managing Director – and look forward to continuing the MBS Frankfurt success story under his leadership.

Team Update at MBS Singapore

We would like to inform you that Olaf Niklowitz has left MBS Singapore and is no longer available for enquiries or operational matters.
With immediate effect, Karen Poh is your new point of contact for all matters related to MBS Singapore. She can be reached at Karen.Poh@mbssin.sg.
We would like to sincerely thank Olaf for his dedication and commitment, and we are delighted to welcome Karen to her new role. We wish her every success and look forward to working with her!

The new Anytime website is live!

Anytime, our dedicated solution for time-critical logistics, now has its own website – clear, fast and focused.
This launch marks the next step in Anytime’s brand development. Following the acquisition of Swiss logistics provider Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH, the service offering has grown, further establishing Anytime as a high-performance product within the MBS Group.
With clean design, intuitive navigation and content that gets straight to the point, the site highlights what makes Anytime special – all firmly rooted in the DNA of MBS.
The result: a clearer view of our time-critical logistics capabilities, and a faster, more direct way for clients to get in touch.

MBS Düsseldorf supports youth football team SV 1930 Rosellen
This season, MBS Düsseldorf is proud to support the D2 youth football team of SV 1930 Rosellen in Neuss. Thanks to our sponsorship, the team is now equipped with much-needed gear to start the season in top form.
This initiative reflects what we live every day: true team spirit – not only within MBS, but also beyond our company walls.
EVENTS
Transport Logistic 2025 – a resounding success!
Four packed days, 77,000 visitors from over 130 countries and regions, and countless meaningful conversations: the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich this June once again proved to be an ideal platform for innovation, dialogue and international exchange in the logistics sector.
MBS Logistics and Anytime shared a booth at the Cologne Bonn Airport space – a real hub for fresh ideas, new connections and reconnecting with familiar faces.
There was even a carnival moment outside the season: a charming performance by talented children from Blau-Wiesse Funke Wahn, who delighted the audience with their unique carnival dance. The show was organised with great passion by Monica Molitor from Mentfield – adding a personal and joyful note to the trade fair atmosphere.
With positive feedback, new perspectives and an inspiring atmosphere throughout, one thing is clear: this fair was a full success. A big thank-you to everyone who joined us – this is Logistics, made personal!
Sales training in Münster: sharpening skills, strengthening teams
In April, sales colleagues from across Germany came together in Münster. The focus: faster coordination, smarter solutions and even closer collaboration. Whether in inside or field sales, professional development at MBS means growth, quality and shared momentum.
The sessions were hands-on, lively, and in true MBS fashion rounded off with good food, great conversations and fresh ideas for everyday work.
Thanks to everyone who took part!
On site in Poland – team spirit in action
Also in April, members of our management team, joined by shareholders Katrin Drotleff, Bernd Wilkes and Johannes Steckel, visited our colleagues in Poland. Alongside strategic discussions, personal connections took centre stage. The impressions were clear: strong growth, real dedication and an exceptional team spirit.
A heartfelt thank you to our colleagues in Poland for the warm welcome, open exchange and continued drive. We look forward to what’s ahead!
Girls’ Day 2025 at MBS: curiosity meets logistics
This year’s Girls’ Day gave young talent the chance to experience logistics up close, from air and sea freight to hands-on warehouse operations.
Initiatives like these matter, especially for those without direct connections to the industry. Even better when, at the end of the day, participants say: “That was really exciting!”
A big thank you to everyone who made this day possible – you made a lasting impression!
FIBO 2025 – Global connections, strong partnerships

At this year’s FIBO, a leading trade show for health, fitness and wellness in Cologne, our MBS team was right in the middle of the action. A special highlight: reconnecting with our long-time partner Body Sculpture from Xiamen. Together, we kicked off new ideas for storage and distribution solutions tailored to the German market.
Whether through spontaneous chats or strategic planning, personal exchanges once again showed how vital strong relationships are to long-term success.

More than books – MBS at the global Publiship meeting in Bangkok

Did you know that Publiship Germany is part of the global MBS Group?
Publiship specialises in logistics for publishers and printers, with 14 offices worldwide located in key publishing and printing hubs.
In late March, the global Publiship family met in person for the first time since the pandemic – at the long-awaited global meeting in Bangkok. Among those attending: representatives from HQ in Liverpool, as well as teams from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Sydney, New York, Rotterdam, Milan – and of course our Frankfurt colleagues Monika Geier and Stefan Wischrath.
It was a great opportunity to reconnect, share insights and align our direction for the future.

All the Best, Hassan!
On 31 March 2025, Hassan Ürün said goodbye to MBS after an impressive 18 years. As Head of Finance and Administration, he helped shape our company with dedication, expertise and reliability.
We thank him sincerely for his commitment, the great collaboration and many shared successes. We wish him all the very best – both professionally and personally – for the road ahead!
